The more I see of Burnham, the more impressed I am with how Starmer carried being the PM. A class act that Burnham can never follow. Sure he made mistakes, but so will Burnham. Burnhams perceived popularity will fade as he is found out, more and more...

Burnham at Dover, talking a lot as usual, but actually saying nothing. Every time he gets in to difficulty, he tells us what he supposedly heard on the doorsteps at Makerfield... He's not only not up to the job, he's really boring too.

I'd just like to congratulate Andy Burnham on his great policy announcements this past week and also again thank him for the resounding General Election landslide he led Labour to, just two years ago. How could Labour possibly manage without him?

So next time we get a PM from say, Scotland, or Wales, are they going to set up a No. 10 in their home country? For after this pathetic nonsense from Burnham, why shouldn't they? Or perhaps a No. 10 in Plymouth, Southampton, Newcastle, Norwich, Leicester etc. Burnham really is a first class tw@t.

Burnham wants us to trust him & "his" Government. After the last weeks & months of backstabbing, when you look at his cabinet, do you see one solitary individual that you trust? From Healey to Streeting, Burnham to Powell, Rayner to Mahmood... all I see are conniving, self serving, disloyal egos.

The cooing from Burnham’s groupies is nauseating! They are trying to give the impression that Burnham replaced a Tory PM, rather than a Labour PM who put in the graft, took the brickbats from a media briefed by his own Ministers, and laid the foundations on which Burnham could build.

Re cutting the 5% VAT off electricity bills- when you are struggling, even a few quid a month helps. However, of the revenue created by this, I wonder how many of the more wealthy, previously contributing it, will even notice? Help those needing help, but don't throw away revenue from those others.

Nothing against Manchester & nothing against the North. I'm married to a northern girl. However, I'm getting fed up with this talk of taking rule away from Westminster, only to find we are now being "ruled" by Greater Manchester & northerners. The North is not the UK, no more than London is.

So within a day of becoming Lab leader, Burnham has been caught openly lying, saying he had no involvement in the ousting of Keir Starmer... Then his controversial & negative North sea oil policy is announced... I'd say his Premiership is not going very well, since it doesn't begin until Monday...

Burnham has fooled the fools, but there are so many of us, not fooled at all. We've seen his like in Government before. Indeed we have seen him before. When it all goes up in flames, don't expect us not to say so. Just like with Brexit, Corbyn and Johnson, we shall say, "We told you so... "

Well, I shouldn't, but I can't wait for the slimy, sickly, ego that is Burnham, to become PM now. I want to see him brought down to earth with a bang & all those idiotic MP's applauding him & fawning over him get called out for what they have done. For me, the sooner he fails (he will), the better.

The dignity, the integrity and the class, that Keir Starmer oozes, even at the end, makes Burnham look like the opportunistic little chancer that he is. He will be found out very soon. I look at all those Lab MP's applauding the PM today and I realise 95% of them are absolute fools. What a waste...

Dear Andy Burnham, Just think, someone, somewhere in the Labour Party and beyond, at this very moment, is plotting your downfall. For that is the precedent you have now created. You have aped the Tories with their constant changing of PM's. Your turn will come and probably not so long to wait...

I have thoroughly enjoyed the World Cup. I have loved cheering for the US team. Then that fucker intervened. Yes, the red card was excessive, but I would rather lose because of it than win because Imbecile called FIFA. The joy is gone. Now we’re the bad guys. He destroys everything.

Feeling sorry for the decent US world cup supporters & players. Nobody likes cheats & certainly nobody likes one crooked President demanding favour from another crooked President. So now the rest of the world wants Belgium to win & whatever the result, the US team will be branded cheats. Very sad.

I really don't think the Lab MPs & Ministers who badly let down Starmer & us, with their self serving, disloyal antics, realise what they have done to their own credibility & careers. Streeting, Rayner, Powell, Phillips, Miliband & many more. My respect and trust for all of you, has gone forever.

When I listen to that crap from Burnham today, is there really not just 81 Lab MP's that can't get behind just one candidate to stand against him? Clearly he needs to be challenged. If not, is there just one that can convince Keir Starmer to rethink & stand? This is Johnson, or Truss, yet again...

I've been listening to Andy Burnham on & off for 2 decades + & he certainly lives up to his reputation as a flip flopper. I'm no fan, but he has done ok at times. The more I see of him nowadays though, the more he reminds me of Boris bloody Johnson. That continuous smirk, the falseness of it all...

Burnham has the whole of the UK to look after and resonate with. Not just the North. No PM has ever focused on just one area. This is nonsense. I can’t see how he can remotely undertake this job. He thinks locally. We need an international PM FFS

Steve Reed showing his true colours to Victoria Derbyshire this morning. Just another snivelling little turd. "Dear Andy, wonderful Andy, please keep me as your housing minister Andy, you're so wonderful Andy. Andy, Andy... 🤮

After the GE, many of us thought this new Lab team can really put the country back together. However, we & the PM didn't know what they were really like, did we? Streeting, Miliband, Reeves, Haig, Rayner, Healey, etc. Too many to remember. All selfish, self serving & disloyal. Starmer had no chance

Dear Keir Starmer, You won't see this, but please know that as the dust settles, decent people, don't think you failed. Sure, you made mistakes, but you turned Labour around & then brought respect back to the UK. You needed more time to continue, but too many MPs let you down. They failed, not you.

I hoped Lab MPs were different. Not out for themselves like the Tories of those 14 years. Not even like Cleggy, Davey & the other LibDems who sold their soles to the devil, for a tiny taste of power. But no, most, not all, are childish, self serving, disloyal idiots. The merry-go-round goes on...
