“Hong can’t win in a general election” is ignoring (and/or willfully misinterpreting): current polling, current data ABOUT polling (ie: who responds), the last decade of both state and national history, and the multitude of reasons why establishment dems are losing favor at this velocity.

My takeaway from that speech is that we are headed down the road of Trump trying to outright rig elections. It probably won't work, but he's going for it.

was glad to see ament's shot falling, but there's a *long* way to go. every negative run the bucks allowed, he was in the lineup. every positive run was sparked by him subbing out. at one point he was around -20, while teammates w/ meaningful mins were still in the positives. work yet to be done.

News organizations should periodically stop and look in the mirror and ask themselves “Have we internalized copspeak to the point that our headlines indistinguishable from police department email subject lines?”
