leaving home, flying home. I still haven’t figured out how to talk about having two places that I want to call home.
Just spent 8 hours talking too/hanging out with a friend I grew up with. It’s sad knowing that the next time I visit home I probably won’t see them as they will (hopefully) have moved to a new town and gotten a good job. I don’t know when I’ll see them again, but I’m sure I will
i’m visiting home for a few days before my school semester starts up. it’s nice being home. i’ve missed staying up late on the roof and watching as the heat storms light up the sky. its comforting to be here and in this moment.
it’s 2 in the morning, and I just can’t sleep. being an owl really is for me. why can’t I just be nocturnal!
I have such mixed feelings about the summer internship I’ve been working with. It’s been easy-ish money I need, but I’m not really cut out for +10 hr days outside. I’m looking forward to it being over and having a little more time to myself and recovering before this next school semester!
went to the beach today and got burnt in a narrow line straight down my leg. how did that happen and why do I never use enough sunscreen
the increase in light flickering the past few days got me kinda bothered. How strained is the power here, is it that bad?

took a handsaw to the old couches four legs and managed to get it out the door! the new couch is assemblable, so we don’t have to do that again!
