Fuck it, making a 2026 Media Thread™ and I'm gonna add everything I've experienced! I'll organize each category below and then include updates to their respective genre. And for more in-depth thoughts, those'll be included in my Telegram!
Teaching is hard. Don't push students at all and they get bored and don't do the work. Push them too hard and they fail and their self image implodes and it needs to be built up again.
Getting tired of untested vibecoded ports that are just buggy and because no experienced coders are around, they can't fix it? Never fear, as I have listed decomps and recomps done by actual people and it will continue expanding! If you know any, lemme know!
Feeling really burnt out. It'll improve in due time, but I'm tired of feeling so tired.

A bit late to this, but the Ohio Renaissance Festival was awesome! First time ever attending this type of fair and it slapped so hard. The atmosphere and crowd were beyond immersed, and even though a bad storm blew over, it made for some fond memories.
If you are worried about this, simply go in your chat and type: <b>TEST</b> Check how the message is displayed in the overlays! -If you see a BOLD "TEXT", disabling the browser source until an OBS patch will fix that. ⚠ -If you simple see, "<b>TEST</b>", you are all good! ✨
Finally maintaining a workout routine feels fantastic! And even better is having kettlebells and dumbbells at home. It's a drastic difference between using free weights and workout machines; weirdly humbling, to a degree?
I can feel the lactic acid coarsing through my body... It hurts so good.
With the announcement of yet another Aniimo closed beta, I feel the need to make this post. Do not support this game. I was part of the Creator Club for Aniimo's 2nd Closed Beta test. Despite the team's claims, there is Generative AI throughout the game and in promotional material. (1/2) #aniimo
The GFM is up now. With my mom in police custody & on ICE hold despite being in the US for nearly 3 decades, this puts me & my family in a very tough spot If you can, I ask y'all to send some love & support our way to help us fight for our mom's freedom from this unjust system. gofund.me/5506965b6
ChocoMingo 🦩@chocomingo.bsky.social · 2w agoHi everyone. I have some important & brutal news to share, a double-whammy at that. First, my mom was just detained by and I worry she may have an ICE hold. Physically, she is fine & I'll set up a GFM for her soon In the meantime, feel free to send support our way though Ko-fi ko-fi.com/chocomingo
Right hates trans people - most public go "it's the right, they're nuts". So-called left join in - "Well now, what's going on, there must be an issue if they agree!" It's why the Guardian/Labour going anti-trans is, ultimately, more much more harmful than the Times/Telegraph/Tories doing it.
Erin Reed@erininthemorning.com · 2w agoPolitical winds do not only flow from voters to politicians, they go in reverse as well. Democrats running ads like these signal to the general public and their voter base that this issue now has support by both parties, and that hating trans people is publicly acceptable. They do harm to us.
The "trying to do remote-work side hustles at my full-time job" struggle resulted in me accessing my old Granblue Fantasy account... And it's crazy how I've surpassed it, with my Steam account, in less than three months? Honestly got a little choked up seeing the Yggy Brigade. 🥹
Tomorrow, Discord will place everyone into an age group using account signals. They claim 90% of users won't have to confirm their age. They are also introducing new verification methods if you do need to verify that you are an adult, including Credit Cards and App Stores.
I'm gonna take a break from hosting watch parties, until mid-November, so I can focus on other things. Cannot thank y'all enough for those who joined and shared invited with friends! Even during my extended hiatus, we've kept the Discord server active and that rocks. ❤️
For the last 2 years I've been building leaderboards on therun. Today, they go in beta. I'm looking for communities to test them out. Not to switch over, purely for testing. Import your board from SRC easily, poke around, give me thoughts. Contact me here or through discord to test stuff!
