A fun thing about being an indie filmmaker is that you deal with folks that think everything is free and insult you for spending "too much" money with a 15k budget AND people who insult you for spending "too little" with a 15k budget (because a movie cannot be made for so little)

Current ranking of how I feel about my own movies. Putting CarousHELL 4 above Curtains for Christmas was a MUCH harder decision than folks may think, went back and forth on the top spot for a while.
Duke has to deal with Margot & Pierre again in CarousHELL 4! (Also it's kind of hard to make videos in this aspect ratio because this is just NOT how I frame my feature films lol)

Wife is letting me watch a Christmas movie during her spooky time so I can continue the DCEU rewatch with Shazam. At least I got a great Captain Marvel film. I'll say all day long the Big Red Cheese has one of the best DC films made. Top 5 of DCEU.

I can say with absolute certainty that after watching @steverudzinski.bsky.social’s CarousHELL 4 tonight that it is my favorite out of the series, and one of my favorite horror comedies in general. Truly groovy.

Evil Dead Burn was pretty cool! The most unique story since Army of Darkness and I thought it was way more visually interesting than Rise. But the Deadites were pretty whatever and I still am bummed out that they keep never making them cool designed creatures.
What we did is NOWHERE near as good as what the Evil Dead movies delivered, but in CarousHELL 4 I really wanted weird looking monsters with white eyes as the look as much as we could afford it.
