Anyway, for the dozenth time: I’ve seen a lot. I believe our struggles are intersectional & shared regardless of if they manifest differently or hit with varying degrees of severity. I align with the oppressed even if they aren’t philosophically or intellectually where I’m at. Simple as for me.
There’s a term for this experience (which I imagine many of us are having): Moral injury. Moral injury is the distress that occurs in response to betrayal by authority structures and being unable to prevent acts that go against one’s deeply held values and moral beliefs.

I've always held a pretty dim view of the US establishment & its institutions. After Trump's reelection and the Epstein files, though... I realize that even so, I feel betrayed.
