Shoegazer, Vegas lover and Spurs fan, but still trapped in the early nineties! Music is life. Oh and I do a bit of cycling!

Ticking Haze recap - Track 9, Fireworks. We still have the same feeling from this song as the day it was written! It was risky putting it out as the first single, but seems to have hooked people in 🥰 shapeslikepeople.bandcamp.com/track/firewo... #musicsky #dreampop #shoegaze #indie

This time last year I was nervously wondering whether anyone would include The Shop Window’s Daysdream in their Best of 2024 lists, fast forward a year and I’m now nervously wondering if anyone will include Ticking Haze. 🤣 At the end of the day, we’re proud of these records, thats what counts!
"Working" day done, so time to spin the greatest debut album of all time, released 35 years ago today. Hard to believe I was only 7 when it came out though.... 😉🌊 #NowPlaying #shoegaze #Nowhere @rideox4official.bsky.social

Ricky McAllister@rickymca.bsky.social · last yr.#shoegaze #Gazefest Great day at Gazefest in Belfast yesterday. Such a good event with top bands the whole way through. Standouts included Death Is by Sunstinger, a new track called Reveries by Virgins & the mighty Prophet & I by Whitelands. Great to catch up with @stevyk73.bsky.social as always.
Been feeling a bit crap since returning from holiday, but a first spin of this new arrival will soon sort me out. My album of the year so far from @blankenberge.bsky.social #NowPlaying #shoegaze

Putting off the holiday packing once again to listen to the cracking debut album from @octoberdrift.bsky.social . Still can't quite believe that they've sadly called it a day though. #NowPlaying
We picked up our poor, injured Ted from the vets today, and with a metal plate now in place he's been renamed Roboted! Just don't go asking me about the eye watering bill please..... 😭💰😺
Go see them live if you get the chance folks, they were fantastic in Belfast last week. 👌
