I bring up ROI often in conversations around arts & culture. the promises of big projects like stadiums, etc vs investing in the arts. something like Blink Cincinnati, a light & art festival, spent $7M for their 2024 festival and generated $126M in a weekend vs $_00M and it takes years to build

The sunset clause is subject to change at the will of the General Assembly. This year, a bipartisan majority of the Senate voted to change it. I agree with Sen. Louise Lucas: a multi-trillion-dollar industry doesn't need a $1B+ tax break. Let's use that money to fix roads and feed kids. #valeg

Making music that you would listen to if someone else made it is... something. It can be hard to create in the middle of The Thing Thats Happening. Take breaks and rest when you need to. Do get back to it though. Make things and share them. Also find people doing the same.

You have until 24 April to do it, and then *boom* you're now part of training their models. GitHub is truly losing its identity and what it stands for. Opting in paying customers means they no longer see themselves as the infra for code. Opportunity for someone else!

So in Richmond so far Mayor Avula said we dont cooperate with ICE and then we found out ICE uses our Flock cameras, and Sherrif Irving implied we dont cooperate with ICE and yet we do.
