Went on a rant last night but highlighting this. A lot of scammers are stealing real info from agencies to try to convince unrepped authors and artists that they are offering them a deal. Research isn’t just ‘is this agent a real person?’ but is your interaction with them legit. I know it sucks :(

I guess a PSA for newer creators, if you get what seems to be a legit offer, you are totally ok to go to the agency’s real site, and email them directly in a new email “hey i just got an offer from you? Is this real?” And they will answer yes or no. They are just as pissed by the scams, I imagine!
