Repression is not something that comes "after" the movement. It is not a custodial task. Building police centers and concentration camps, rounding up workers on a farm, are also all acts of repression that we resist. They fight us, we fight them back. It's as simple as that.

A large number of sophisticated discourses have convinced some people that the concept of solidarity does not serve them, that the fight between federal agents and undocumented people is not a universal struggle effecting the entire society. This is "divide + conquer" rebranded.

The movement against deportations is not destructive or disruptive enough, actually. Every single day, federal authorities are ruining peoples lives and destroying families. This cannot be resolved by the Democratic party, who helped to build these policies and infrastructures.

in Atlanta, a new collective in the movement to @stopcopcity.bsky.social is hosting a campaign-launch event this saturday. specifically, this event aims to orient the community around movement defense against the RICO cases and other felonies, now in the Trump era.

This is a blitzkrieg. It's not going to stop automatically. We need to focus on our agency, not our oppression.

BREAKING: After several hours of public comment in Eureka, CA, city council has voted AGAINST implementation of draconian "FLOCK Safety" cameras in the Humboldt County town. FLOCK has been a major asset for the Atlanta Police Foundation/Mayor Dickens' dystopian Cop City project.

Atlanta residents have been living in a "post-democratic" civil dictatorship for 3 years. A protester killed, canvassers charged with terrorism, a bail fund charged with RICO, a referendum process suppressed, house raids, surveillance. All under the Democrats. They also showed us how to fight back.

They are building Cop Cities everywhere. The facility in Atlanta did not become a flashpoint because it is unique. It became one because people are fighting against it.

The United States is a Cop Nation. The police cannot be reformed, since they are essential the operations of the state: control the population, maintain class domination. To abolish the police, we will have to change everything. It's time to pick ourselves back up and fight, fight, fight.
