The only G number I know is G-AWFL which sounds like God Awful. Used in 1970 episodes of Doctor Who. But then was sold to a company in Dublin, given an Irish number where it was hijacked and used in a prison escape.

I finally got round to watching Rififi (Du rififi chez les hommes). It's only been around for 71 years. A really effective thriller, marred only by its casual acceptance of violence against women. The heist scene - a quarter of the film, with no dialogue or music - retains the attention throughout.

I enjoyed The Hallamshire Incident, despite it being the 13th Doctor series's 1st use of continuity bingo. This has, in general, been one of the most consistent series from @bigfinish.bsky.social. Yaz is recalled to Police duty in this one, so I've defaced another of Rafe Wallbank's covers to match.

I've just noticed that on that Commonwealth Games trailer, you can see Greg McHugh approaching the back of the Tardis prop before passing through it and out of the front door. What has happened to the magic of Doctor McHugh?

Before he was Copperfield, he was ... DAVID. Before it was House, it was ... BLEAK. Before they were expectations, they were ... GREAT. Before he was Chuzzlewit, he was ... MARTIN. "Before he was Twist, he was ... OLIVER!" could actually be used for a remake or reissue.
