Hay wait a minute. No one told me it was national big butt day today? 😳😏

Poor #horse just wants to relax with the nice breeze, but can't get a break from those pesky horseflies! You can't blame the flies though. I mean, what fly could resist a #honse with a big juicy gluteus maximus such as his? #thicc #booty #cartoon #animation #furry #anthro #sound #effects #butt

Did you all think I’d forget about World Elephant Day? Ha! An elephant never forgets! 🐘

StretchNPop@stretchnpop.bsky.social · 7mo ago

Happy #elephantmarch month everyone! I always like elephants and wanted to draw them more. Anyway, we have ourselves just an average circus elephant trying to perform, when a crazy mouse attempts to sabotage the big fellow's act. #elephant #tickle #circus #animation #sfx #big #cartoon

Opinion: Realistic sound effects on an inflation/fattening animation are cool I suppose, but I always preferred those classic cartoon sound effects instead.

The image is of a four panel comic.
The first panel shows Sarah, the protagonist, as a child. Off panel, someone says to her, “Enjoy your youth!”
The second panel shows child Sarah again, now frowning. The person off panel continues, saying “After you’re 30 you’ll be old and your life will basically be over.”
Before the last two panels there is text that reads “LIFE AFTER I TURNED 30.”
The third panel shows adult Sarah opening a door.
The fourth panel shows the door opens to a beautiful field with flowers, a rainbow, and a pond. Sarah says “Wait what.”

If anyone is getting smacked with this - just use deer.social or another alternate client. Bsky is just an AT Protocol Client, and your Bsky account is an AT Protocol account - you can use your same Bsky account thru another AT Protocol Client, no migration or loss necessary. Could not be easier.

One of the furry community's originals, Roz Gibson, is in really big trouble. She is in kidney failure, and needs a donor, so please reskeet. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1138...

I’ve thought long and hard about making this post, but really, at this point, I don’t have much to lose. Desperate times, and all that.

TLDR version: I need a kidney transplant, and I’m looking for a donor. Read below for all the gory details.

Since late 2019, right before Covid hit, I’ve been battling a serious illness. I’ve been kind of cagey about what exactly is wrong, for a number of reasons, but here’s the truth—I’m in full kidney failure.

There is no history of this in my family, so when the symptoms began appearing I didn’t recognize them until it was too late. By the time I went to a doctor my kidney function had dropped into the single digits. Most kidney failure is caused by diabetes or high blood pressure—I got some weird kidney disease I can’t even pronounce and never heard of: Oxalate Nephropathy.

By adopting some dietary changes and careful monitoring, I was able to limp along with reduced kidney function for several years. But you don’t appreciate how much your kidneys do to keep you healthy until they stop working. There’s constant fatigue and nausea, and a general feeling of unwellness that never goes away.

But eventually I lost even what minimal function I had left, which left the end of the line for kidney disease: dialysis. As of this point I’ve been on dialysis for about 3 years. Let me tell you—dialysis is its own special kind of hell that you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy.

But even that is just a stop-gap measure, and my condition is continuing to get worse. Despite this, I’m trying my best to live as normal a life as possible. I’m extremely lucky I have a job that’s willing to allow me 9 hours a week for dialysis, so I’m still working. On weekends I work on my art and comics, and one or two days a month I do my volunteer work at the bird-banding site. I can even travel to see my family—if I arrange for dialysis at a local clinic ahead of time.

All of that is done while trying to deal with the symptoms of kidney failure. I’ve known 4 people who were on dialysis—none of them worked or really did much of anything, and at this point they’re all dead, which doesn’t really give me a lot of hope for my future.

Which brings us to the point of all this—I desperately need a kidney transplant. That is the only thing that will give me a chance at a relatively normal life. I’ve been approved and on the transplant list for a few years, but the waiting period in California is very long. By the time I get to the top of it, I may be too sick to get one. Right now I’m still in relatively good condition, comparatively. A transplant from a living donor lasts much longer and is better in every way than one you get from a deceased donor.

Unfortunately, everyone in my immediate family is too old or has other health problems that preclude donation. So this post is a desperate attempt to find anyone willing to donate. I realize donating a kidney is a lot different than giving ten bucks to a GoFundMe, but as I said at the beginning, at this point I don’t have much to lose by asking.

Here is the living donor site: https://www.uclahealth.org/medical-.....t/living-donor

You can inquire and even arrange to donate completely anonymously if that’s what you want. Hopefully there’s a Jack Salem fan out there who wants to see the stories (and the artist) continue for years to come.

That is all.

I always thought of Dragonites as being like bumblebees. They’re big, fat ‘n’ round, and yet they can still fly.

Hey there I’m glad you like it! I didn’t think much of this animation other than it being for Zangoose Day, but I’m more than impressed with how the animation turned out in the end. Animation wise, it’s definitely a top tier for me.

Today is #PikachuDay, so it’s time to once again celebrate this lil fat rat that we know and love! This jiggly pikachu may arrive to the party a little late due to its pudgy pear predicament.

CW: Pudge Those pesky pikachu are always tricky to catch with how fast they are. Someone used full incense, causing the mouse’s belly to bloat up bigger than a snorlax! Now the fat rat can’t move faster than a Slowpoke, and found itself wobbling about! Pikachu (c) Nintendo #pokemon #pikachu
