Had horrible insomnia last night. Meant to work a couple hours today then take the rest off to rest, but that was foiled by a minor web crisis...then my A/C shit the bed. Maintenance came out, said it was a fried contact in the unit, which he replaced. Temp came down a couple degrees...then went up.

Whenever someone asks me where I'm from, I ask how they're defining "from". Birth, early childhood, adolescence/college were all in different places, and I've lived in three other places since then! I do tend to identify more with the city I'm in than the state.

I have a standing call with my brother, every Tuesday around 8:30 my time. We agreed that unless otherwise requested, he calls me, since he has more going on. He's frequently late, but then some weeks I'm sitting around waiting for 30+ min, and have to text him to find out what's going on. 1/?

Just got home from my city's Trans March & Rally (kicking off Pride Weekend, the big march is tomorrow). A good feeling to be reminded that while a lot of my state gov't are fuckheads, local gov't & community are holding the line.
