Vancouver-based Designer and Illustrator. Co-creator and host of the Dungeon Punks Podcast. Dinosaur fact giver.

Wrapped up a multi-year D&D campaign today. The final battle involved two Power Word Kills, a Storm of Vengeance, a Wish, three PCs getting swallowed by a Purple Worm, a counterspell-off, and a Barbarian critting for a total of 119 damage.

The first season of Dungeon Punks was all notebooks and hand drawn maps if I recall. Season 2 was collected in a single google doc. Season 3 has had a new doc for each arc and an NPC list that is shared with everyone involved because we made too many silly superhero/super-villain names.

Inspired by the responses in this post -- okay, GM's, what are you keeping all your world-building stuff in? Using one of the dedicated sites? I've got everything in a player-facing Google Drive folder. Did I watch Youtube videos to learn to make character sheets in Google Sheets Of COURSE I did.

Finally had time to sit down and draw my Rogue from the first campaign in a long time I'm not DMing. Cìaran Greycastle is a Cillian Murphy lookalike and ex-spy who dances like Sam Rockwell when nobody is watching.

They heard from hundreds of Vancouverites, many of whom were home- and business-owners who said “please don’t freeze my property tax. I like parks and libraries more,” and they still went through with this budget that is (at best) 1/10 the size of a normal one.
