Watched Luca for the 100th time with my son, are there any cozy games out there that share the same vibe? Fishing, pasta eating and sea monsters haha #cozygames #gaming #disney

I owe Howard Shore a big thanks, the amount of times I listen to the LOTR soundtrack while working has become countless.
After 3 weeks since my apartment was flooded and we had to move the family out. I’ve officially moved into my little townhouse. Now to spend the day setting up my office space. Everything’s coming up Milhouse!
My former boss wrote a recommendation on my LinkedIn. You should hire me (if you can)
Welp, last weekend, woke up to alarms going off and water filling the entirety of our apartment. Had to take my family/dogs in the middle of the night to my parents home to stay. Just found out the damage will require full renos and we’ll need to move all our stuff to a temp unit for the time being

I totally thought the packaging for this frozen ramen was AI generated and a Lego man pattern was randomly in the carrots. Turns out, no it was all real. My mistake, I wasn’t familiar with your game. lol It’s a miso butter I believe? #ramen
Recently, I did a quick playthrough of Earthbound to completion. Still holds up great, outside of maybe the worst item inventory management controls lol. I've never played Mother 3 ... so what's the recommended way of playing it? #videogames #nintendo
This little weirdo is finally on the move! Maybe I'll work on a Godot project later tonight in celebration. Hopefully it arrives soon 🤖
How did they never make a Middle-earth / Lord of the Rings CRPG game with the infinity engine?? #gaming
For work, I was given the task of playing and beating Link's Awakening. Finished it in roughly 2 days, was a little strange playing through a Zelda game during work hours haha. I really enjoyed my time with the game, very charming with a bit of a somber ending. Majora's is still my favorite tho!
The Cabin in the Woods holds up so well! Going through our long list of horror films leading up to Halloween. Definitely one of my favourites to put on, almost like a cozy horror/satire. Just all around a fun time! Let the couple of weeks of spooky begin! 👻 #movies #horror #halloween

I'll always be impressed with how good and powerful Excel is as a piece of software and how terrible almost every other Microsoft product has become over the years. (Glares at Outlook)

Make sure to talk to the people important to you while you still can, you never know when they'll be gone. Advice you hear often but don't think much about till it's too late Welp, after a little hiatus, I'll be back to posting some game dev related stuff Till then here's a cool album I inherited

Finished reading Jurassic Park for the first time. Great book, Ian Malcolm's rants near the end feels super relevant today in its messaging. With the rise of vibe coding, gen-AI, etc, untrained skills and power sold like a Saturday night special. Sadly, we don't at least get dinosaurs. #booksky
It has begun! On to starting my Final Fantasy III journey. Not really sure what to expect, this one I’ve heard nothing about (other than sharing the name Final Fantasy III NA version aka VI) lol Was able to track down the retconned names, I think? #gamesky #rpg #games #finalfantasy
Finished my playthrough of Final Fantasy II. I actually enjoyed it, even though it was a little rough at times lol. So many dungeon dead ends, and while the password system was a nice add, it was sort of under utilized. Wish they added more to it lol still a fun play #games #rpgs #finalfantasy
Happy #ScreenshotSaturday ! I’ve been updating which assets to use for my game’s environment. I think it’s beginning to actually look pretty good! Next up to work on adding something to attack, be attacked by lol #UnrealEngine #Gamedev #IndieDev #Games #IndieGames
🔥Hot take: Final Fantasy II isn't a bad game. ❗ I've been playing the Pixel Remaster version (which has a few QOL improvements) and I've been having a great time! It suffers from trying to do too many new things at once (progression, password system) but think it's cool they tried new things 😀
What got you started on the path towards making games my game dev friends? For me it was StarEdit / StarCraft Campaign Editor. The Trigger system was just complex enough to do whatever I needed without it becoming overwhelming for my 10 year old mind. 😅
Oh man, RIP Legend 🎺 Chuck Mangione was one of my favorite recurring characters on King of the Hill. "Feels so good" transports me back www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFqp...
