#OCs #Art the ballet club ice skating

A card type illustration of Amaya ice skating. She wears a white bodysuit with subtle pastels reflections and spiderweb motif, it has a short skirt and like one sleeve is torn in places. Amaya's expression is guarded as she tilts her head down, she has a similar torn fabrics covering half her face. Multiple of her locks is colored in matching pastel, so are her nails, her inner palm is painted purple both on her hand and glove. In the background there are lyrics from Shinigami by Kenshi Yonezu.

Mayu wears a harlequin like bodysuit, one half a light pink the other a checkers of blues, pinks and white.
Jana wears a dark purple rose inspired dress with red highlights.

Silver & Iron: Part Three Pages 38/49

Lake gestures with his own beer somewhere over his shoulder. “We should get a table,” he says, as the bottle he offered passes from his hand to Ashley’s. Ashley, still wide-eyed and stunned, simply replies, “Right.” Lake walks off in the direction that he pointed, leaving Ashley staring after him; he takes a moment before turning to look across the dance floor to his friends at the booth table. They all saw that happen and are staring at him with saucer eyes. Ashley stares back with equally massive saucers. He takes a moment to process, then hits them with a shit-eating shrug and hurries off to follow Lake. Lake has found a smaller round table, built into a secluded alcove, under a focused ceiling light that illuminates the tabletop and not much more. The curved booth could fit four to maybe six people, but Ashley makes it look like a tight squeeze as he slides in opposite Lake, who has sprawled in a manner to accommodate his legs which also happens to look very nonchalant. Ashley, who can’t help but stare: “Um… what- what are you doing here?”

Despite the light fixture between them, the primary lighting of the page still bounces between cyan, magenta, and yellow. Lake has one arm leaning behind him on the booth and the other nursing his beer in a somewhat suggestive panel composition. “Should I not be?” He says, slightly nervous, but in a way that sounds blunt. A narrative box humorously suggests that if he could use a tone indicator here it would be “/gen”. Ashley’s posture is also nervous as he goes to open his bottle of beer. “No, I didn’t mean that at all-! I just didn’t know you liked- um- I guess I meant, what brings you here…? If I may ask?” Lake: “Same reason as you. Right?” He speaks around the lip of his bottle as he takes a sip. “For fun.” Ashley pauses, eyebrows raised, about to take his own sip - then whips away from Lake with an expression of disbelief and takes a swig. Ashley, thinking: Why did that sound like a pick-up line??” Lake, extremely nervous now, glancing away, thinking: “Do not say you followed him in here. It’s just a bar. Vampires hang out in bars all the time. I could be one of them. He doesn’t know I’m not.” Ashley, still thinking: “No, don’t overthink things. Of course he’d pull you aside, you have a million things to-” He pauses, his eyes darkening, tone dropping to be more serious. “... Talk about.” He says aloud: “Um… can I ask… how is the girl?” Lake doesn’t meet his eye for a moment, lips pursed. Ashley grimaces as Lake speaks: “It’s still touch-and-go. Her parents are dead. But she’s being brave about it. And she likes being a vampire-” Ashley’s expression shifts from concern to thought until he interrupts Lake, brow furrowed. “Wait- but then-”

Ashley: “But she’s alive? I mean- she’s okay? There was no relapse?” Lake looks slightly startled at the interjection before realising what he’s asking and quickly says, “No! No, she’s perfect.” Ashley listens to this in shock, his mouth hanging open slightly, before clenching his jaw and slumping forward, head in his hands. Lake is reminded instantly of the night they found Heliotrope, where Ashley had collapsed over her body, sobbing in relief after his experimental treatment had worked to cure her of the infection. Then, too, Lake had been unable to say or do anything, only watch as he cried; and now Lake is seeing it happen again, Ashley’s shoulders trembling, and all Lake can do is stammer. But to his surprise Ashley rockets back upright with a booming laugh, his smile so huge it seems to radiate colour - even if the people at the booth next to them look annoyed - before running his hands through his hair, his relief palpable in his expression and dissolution of tension in his body language. “That is the best news I’ve head all week-! God! This means we really have a working- well, not for sure, but it’s a start… after so long… a start…!” As he rambles on happily Lake watches, eyes wide, with a tiny smile of his own forming. Ashley: “And she’s okay!! She’s okay…! Ha hah…”

Silver & Iron: Part Three Pages 41/49

Ashley unceremoniously drains the rest of his bottle of beer in one chug and Lake’s smile falls to genuine surprise. Once finished, Ashley lets out a contented sigh, still grinning. “Fantastic. Fantastic, fantastic, fan-” He’s interrupted by Lake placing his own nearly-full bottle in front of Ashley, who blinks at it, then picks it up, turning to Lake wordlessly for an explanation. Lake, who is not looking at him, only says “I don’t have germs.” Ashley, nervous, confused, laughing: “Ha, ha… Are you trying to get me drunk?” Lake, incredibly sincere: “Off two beers?” Ashley turns sharply away from him, embarrassed, lifting the bottle to drink. (Quickly) “Just kidding. Thanks.” Lake: “I only bought it so I wouldn’t stand out.” Smaller panels draw a link between the lip of the bottle and Lake’s own lips. Ashley: “Va- (emphatically) You guys can’t drink?” Lake looks off to the side, expression neutral. “No, we drink plenty. Just not stuff like beer.” Ashley turns back with some interest: “Oh, really? Because of the yeast, or…?” He startles himself with apparent realisation, spilling a bit of beer. “Oh!!” He chugs more of the beer, eyes darting away, as he imagines the seemingly obvious answer to his question - a cartoony Dracula-like vampire biting and drinking blood from the neck of a swooning, helpless human. Lake, meanwhile, is thinking of a real photo of water pouring into a wine glass, helpfully labeled “wader” (sic) like old school WordArt. He looks utterly oblivious to Ashlely’s inference.

Ashley fixes Lake with a curious look as he swallows his mouthful, trying to figure him out. (Thinking) “Okay, am I nuts? Is he flirting with me?? He seeks me out, buys me drinks, pulls me aside, says he came to a gay bar to have fun… what am I supposed to think?” He contrasts two different memories of Lake from the night they found Heliotrope. (Thinking) “Gotta be honest, the last time we met, I didn’t think he liked me very much.” Ashley’s imagination exaggerates Lake smirking at him and flipping him the bird as he brags, “What, like it’s hard? Go fuck yourself lmfao.” A small box reads “dramatisation”. Ashley thinks, “But maybe he changed his mind…?” as he recalls how that evening ended - with Lake saying “thank you,” his expression sad and sincere. Ashley: “I thought he wanted to talk about monster business, but I’m the one who brought that up. So what did he want? If I’m right, then I don’t want to lead him on… gotta let him down gently… but if I’m wrong, I don’t want to lose my one link to the vampires…” Ashley focuses his attention on the real Lake now sitting in front of him, his expression and body language forced into nonchalance. Ashley (thinking): “Y’know, I’ve never had the opportunity to look at him properly before. I didn’t need to, he was always just ‘that one vampire who’s huge’... He’s… interesting-looking. Is this what he looked like as a regular human? Wow. His eyes are surprisingly… gentle?” His thought bubbles pan over Lake’s muscular arms and chest. “And damn, that hoodie was hiding a lot. Do vampires work out?” While he’s analysing Lake, Lake is also thinking desperately to himself, “Fuuucckk! I wasn’t expecting him to ask about Heliotrope first! Now I don’t know what else to say!! My mind’s gone blank! This is so awkward! He must think I’m weird A F!” Ashley (unaware) catches his eye on the chain around Lake’s neck and thinks, “Oh!”

Ashley (thinking): “That pendant! It’s the same one he used when turning the girl…” A close-up on the pendant hangs over the composition of the page; what appeared at a distance to be an inverted cross is actually a tiny dagger, with a red gem on the pommel, a pointed guard, and a golden sheath which attaches to the chain. The pendant splits the panel into three parts showing what Ashley saw that night; Lake pulling the golden chain from inside his hoodie, using the tiny blade to make a cut on his right forearm, bleeding red, and finally drops of red blood over Heliotrope’s barely-conscious mouth. Ashley (thinking): “I’m still fuzzy on the details, but evidently, the process required his blood…” Ashley’s focus shifts from his memories to the dagger resting on Lake’s chest. (Thinking) “The top part is actually a sheath for a tiny ceremonial dagger. At least I assume it’s ceremonial. It must have some special significance, to be able to cut a vampire.” He casually takes a sip of his beer and flicks his eyes up to Lake’s. (Thinking) “I’m lucky to have seen the process-” his thought bubble gets caught up in the speed with which Ashley realises Lake has been staring at him the entire time, his eyebrow raised, and Ashley swallows his beer with a choke before whipping around to hide his face behind the bottle. (Thinking) “Shoot! I was staring right at ‘em!! If I didn’t give him the wrong impression before, I did now!! I wasn’t… I mean, I couldn’t… That’s too… um…” Lake glances down at his chest, outlined and heavy-looking with how the too-small tank top has to stretch around him. He smirks. “Heh. Ohhh…”

Three Luffy drawing. 1. A bloodied Luffy winces as blood drips down his head and arm holding his side and protecting himself at the same times as he leans away from something. He's shirtless, has a pearl and gold bracelets, a long iridescent green drape covers a scaled lower body, could be half crocodile or snake.

Next two are Crocodad AU Luffy portraits. One looks up as the wind blows his hair, he looks unhinged, eyes open wide with a smile more shock than glee. A violet light glows from wherever he's looking.

Last is very Sir Crocodile looking Luffy, he wears his hair slicked back though stubborn curls refuses to stick entirely including thicker strands that mimics' his father's own. He grins, Crocodile-y, arching an eyebrow high, his pupils are small and his overall demeanor threatening. He wears a simple pale green button shirt that leaves just a glimpse of his chest scar. Two bonus bananawni are doodled up to fill the space.
