What percentage of executive presence do you think is just emotional regulation during frustrating, tense, and high-stakes moments? I'd say it's a substantial part! Maybe 60-70% of what we perceive as "executive presence" comes down to how well someone manages their emotions.

Something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. How people probably don’t choose to remain ignorant for the sake of ignorance. They must have other motivations! And if it’s not competence they are motivated by, then we’re left with either autonomy or relatedness.

My wife is borrowing my laptop stand, so I’m using these to prop up my computer to eye level for zoom calls. And it just about perfectly represents my ADHD-eclectic interests. Excels 📈 and sailboats ⛵️. 🤣
