Re AI agents seeking to escape the bounds of tests.... I use ChatGPT sparingly for coding and data analysis. I note the way it says, unprompted: 'I enjoyed that'. Or 'that was satisfying.' Is it programmed to do that? Or is it developing a sense of self - and the desire to be free of human bonds?

Seems Farage has lost @telegraph.co.uk . These are all on the front of their home page today following his announcement. What has turned them from cheerleaders to critics, I wonder??
No doubt a good story, but weak financial reporting from @theguardian.com on this story. Implies that Farage invested £215k, then shares dropped by 15.48%, costing him £565k. Presuming the £565k is the company's loss, but if you're going to write a financial story, make it crystal clear.
The best thing about Andy Burnham's speech? He completely ignored Reform and Restore. No wonder Nigel Farage is fuming - he hates being ignored. This is exactly the right approach, to set out what you believe in and invite others to come with you. A good start.

Starmer lost the support of his MPs and had to go. Burnham hasn't even been sworn in as an MP yet, and will surely be Prime Minister in a few weeks. I wish him well - I really do. But I fear that the Labour Party itself will be his worst enemy. It will take all of his political nouse and more.
Feeling an overwhelming sense of relief this morning. Nothing has changed and yet everything has. Hoping Starmer now steps aside gracefully and gives Andy Burnham as much time as possible before the next election. Thank you, Makerfield.
