Alex Merz 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇦@merz.bsky.social · 12mo agoAmong these 41 research programs, 4 are multi-year funded (5 years' funds allocated at once, rather than once a year for 5 years), due to edicts from Russell Vought and the Trump administration that he largely controls. As these are 5y awards, 41 were funded where the total should be closer to 60.
