I should've phrased this statement as an unconfirmed observation, like Unabara's sprites. In doing that, I failed to properly give Curee his flowers. His redraws were so similar that I genuinely thought it was ZUN's art, especially Meiling, who's as chopped as I remember her.

Our (@anazel.bsky.social and I) #touhou lore book is avalaible to preorder on anazel.net !! It's 144 pages of introduction to Touhou's lore and what inspired it! It was written in a way that anyone, no matter their understanding of the series, can pick it up and learn something.

Flandre is a character whose personality and characterization has seen multiple interpretation. The most common one being that she's a violently unstable psychopath. However, I'd like to propose a different interpretation : Bored, yet unmotivated. A thread 🧵
IceFairy@richardeffendi.bsky.social · 2mo agoFun fact : Although Flandre is often said to be locked in the basement, it's established all the way in EoSD that she willingly doesn't try to get out of the basement. FDS would also later show that she'd easily be able to break any locks, so locking her in would be pointless.
