That harm to women and girls in general is not taken seriously, combined with multiple high-profile men continuing to get passes based on power, talent, or activism with other causes, creates a very worrying landscape for women. Tolerance is still way too high. It needs to start actually mattering.

That "men should be allowed, without judgement or consequence, to do an amount of harm to women and girls that I personally deem acceptable" seems to be a genuine opinion still held by too many people in the year two thousand and twenty six is incredibly grim

This is v interesting except I reckon Meta would just use them to surveil u from ur own face, I reckon that's why they've used Kylie Jenner to market them to try to make them appeal to girls & women. I have no doubt they will be used in all sorts of nefarious ways against girls & women. Terrifying!

If women wore smart glasses, they'd be banned. (soigomaa/x) Think about it. If millions of women wore smart glasses, recording men's behaviour, conversations, comments, their driving & bar chats ... can you imagine the panic? Trust me, smart glasses would be regulated before you can say 'Meta'.

I think a huge issue in academia for minority students without social capital is the idea of the "hidden curriculum" this really puts some students at a really unfair disadvantage, there is so much unsaid in academia that you just have to figure out for yourself. #AcademicSky

Realising someone you really loved was not who you thought they were is so heartbreaking ... Letting go of someone who really hurt you is really difficult esp is your grief is a type of disenfranchised grief. Anyway sharing here feels a little like a way to express that grief.

My neighbour literally just sent me a vid clip of a homeless person asleep in the dryer room of the building I live in, she recorded it because she got a fright when she walked in. Our govt & State should be burning with shame at how they/ it has treated it's people. This poor person. #SpéirGorm

I feel really down today. I woke up with a feeling of dread in the pit of my stomach about facing the day. Now I just cannot wait for tonight so I can go to sleep again. It's easy to hide mental health struggles when you live alone. In a min I will go & put on my makeup and face the world and smile.
