Who left all this garbage out here? This is perfectly good trash. Hiking fan & solo game dev. Nothing I post uses any AI Check out the devlog for my upcoming game, Poisoned Gravity! https://sumac.neocities.org/

Right now the texel density is too high for Poisoned Gravity, but here's my guy! Made him about a year ago for a more-realistic game where you can talk to him and feed him pizza just like IRL In poisoned gravity there's a whole colony of these guys, stowaways on a decade-long journey #rat #lowpoly

I have a fully rigged and animated rat model (and a mouse) that I made for my other game, and i'm planning to make central to my space game, Poisoned Gravity so maybe I should just go ahead and retexture it this weekend to match the style of the new game so I can have a little rat to post

Got the rough idea for the hallways set up in Blender. Still need to finalize the layout, build some cutouts for sparse greebling, and figure out what I want to do about corners. Drawing some inspiration from Alien obvs, Event Horizon, TNG, and my pediatrician from when I was 8.

A blender render of a space ship hallway with padded walls. A bulkhead door control panel with a rough draft texture sits in the front of the view.A view from inside the quarters showing the bulkhead door retracting. A sign reads "Promeande" at the top of the door, but I'm not married to that name for the hallway.A quick and dirty blender global illumination pass showing the hall lights. In Unreal I'm going to bake some lighting for these panels, which run symmetrically on both sides of the hallway. I want the lighting to be ample, but dim, so brighter than this, but in the sort of way that a hospital is after midnight, where it's lit, but only just.

cool blender tips and tricks: 1 - Use shift-tilde for a first-person camera mode. Hit tab for collision and you can test out level layouts without exporting to an engine! 2 - Add 2-3mg thc to some tea so you don't feel high but do lose track of time and shrimp for 4 hours and hurt your hips. #tip

Sometimes with blender you spend like two hours with a calculator trying to rotate part of a mesh just right to join with another mesh, then you realize you can just build new geometry for the joint and it takes like 5 seconds.

every home cook has two sets of knives, the good ones you hang on the wall that cut like a dream, and the horrible shitter's knives you run through the dishwasher and don't want houseguests to know about.

office supplies in microgravity mysterious pens... who can say what brand they are at this texture resolution. Modeled this after the shitty velcro setups they have on the ISS

Just got a new keyboard and typing on it sounds like rain on the roof. Something I definitely miss living in socal for the last 7 years.

New PB for Cactus Canyon! Finally got that table down. Crazy how much better I am at pinball just having the pinone controller instead of a gamepad. It feels way more real but more than that, the buttons are a lot easier to feather the flippers with than like, shoulder buttons ever were.
