Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I don't understand "I need an AI to make up bedtime stories for my kids." You know people make books for kids, right? You have access to the Internet, but not a library or a way to acquire kids books? You don't have to come up with stories. Other people did that for you millions of times over.

It is extremely bizarre to feel nostalgic for 2019 by way of 2000, but Broken Reality is managing to make me miss both. I'm amazed how easily it feels like it's pivoted from expressly vaporwave meme aesthetics to a sort of 2000-era look without missing a beat.
