It's our newsletter's One Year Anniversary! And RFK the Lesser is STILL waging a damaging campaign of absolute male bovine excrement against autistic people & their families. We will not ever let him off the hook, thanks to the eagle eyes of @ejwillingham.bsky.social: buttondown.com/TPGA/archive...
One year in, yet so much stays the same
It's the TPGA Newsletter's 1-year anniversary and here we are, covering The Lesser RFK yet again.

Please please please #parents and #guardians, TEACH YOUR CHILDREN about their bodies; sooner rather than later; sooner rather than not at all.

This is also the time period where I wish that a mom was there to instill the habit of regular exercise into my day, so that a day without movement felt just as strange as a day without brushing/bathing.

this is the one! I have passed this book down from my daughter to my niece.
The care & keeping of you is a classic for a reason. I’d also keep a look out for a copy of Our Body Ourselves for when they’re older. It’s out of print but it was my mom’s HS grad gift to every girl she knew. She’d hide the check in the book so she knew it was used. No check went uncashed.

Are you an autistic adult? Do you identify as BIPOC? A neurodiverse team of researchers wants to learn how to make research better for you. Must be based in U.S.A., identify as autistic, and be 18+ years old. cunyhunter.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_...
I think seeing such a beautiful woman who open identifies as autistic is a game changer.
My cousin, “This doesn’t make you uncomfortable?” Me, “Ain’t I Autistic?”
Great opportunity to share your voice if this is your experience!
Good Morning you handsome and gorgeous lot. Emory University Autism Access Lab wants understanding on how caregivers find services for their autistic children. If you are a caregiver of a child under age 8 years or know families who might be interested click here forms.office.com/r/AyzH1EZ5Yh
And of course I was the first test subject so I could assure you all it is supportive, accessible, and not at all invasive
We also would love to hear from caregivers who live in both urban and rural areas of Georgia, and those with different types of insurance.
While we welcome everyone who is interested, we are particularly wanting to hear from caregivers who had trouble getting what they needed, such as those who did not access Babies Can't Wait services or whose children were diagnosed with autism late.
