This happened two years ago today! It looks like it might happen again tonight too, as there's a strong aurora alert 😁

On the 16th November, Jupiter and Mars will have a very close conjunction. Just over 1° between them. A fine sight naked eye and a brilliant #astrophotography opportunity. 🔭 🧪
The Lobster Claw nebula tonight, taken with the Dwarf Mini 🙂
My time lapse of Friday morning's partial lunar eclipse :-)
ONE WEEK TILL ROMAN LAUNCHES!!! WHO’S EXCITED FOR A NEW ERA OF ASTRONOMY!!!
My favourite partial solar eclipse pics. From that first bite, to just before the clouds rolled in!
The beautiful Dumbbell nebula taken this evening with the Dwarf Mini smart telescope 😍
A time-lapse of yesterday's partial solar eclipse from start to maximum eclipse. A massive cloud covering the Sun for 24 minutes caused the big jump unfortunately, and I've struggled to align the photos from after maximum, so I haven't included them 😆
The Fireworks galaxy taken this evening with the Dwarf Mini smart telescope. I think I'm going to need a few more hours on this one!

The Pacman nebula, taken last night with the Dwarf Mini smart telescope 😍
A nice daytime view of the Moon and Venus is happening now, for those interested. Venus should be an easy binocular target; find the Moon, scan up 7-8 diameters or so, and then hang a slight left. 😉 #astronomy #photography
The creator of Roger Rabbit (who is 85 years old by the way) is a good sort Crossposted with @openvibe.social
The Crescent nebula taken last night with the Dwarf Mini 😍

I spent a few nights on the #EagleNebula with the Dwarf Mini smart telescope and I cant believe I can actually see the #PillarsofCreation at the centre! I've added a cropped version to show it 😍
The Dwarf Mini smart telescope never stops amazing me. Tonight's target was IC 63, the Ghost of Cassiopeia 😍 #Cassiopeia #nebula #astronomy

If they have not appeared already, early June is a good time to spot noctilucent clouds. Look to the north from late evening onwards and check social media for reports. I'll be posting my sightings on here. #NoctilucentClouds
