Got some good feedback on my WIP writing project. It's slow going, but I am making progress.
So... I just set up an appointment for my first boudoir photoshoot. Nervous and excited for it!
Translation: It doesn't actually NEED to be four or five games. We just WANT it to be so instead of it costing $70, it'll cost between $280 ~ $350 for the full experience (not including DLC or side games). The original SFC game was under 3MB, but now you can't do it unless it is thousands of GB?!

For today's #RandomGameSaturday I have Burning Soldier for the 3DO. It's a FMV game where you aim a reticle and shoot down aliens. The music is decent, but the VO on the game is *chef's kiss*. There's a boss where the VO just says "disgusting" and it's absolutely perfect in delivery.
You collect speed up items which allows your ship to go faster and you also have speed control. This seems like an odd design choice? Just give me the max speed control from the start? The game is vertizontal, but the stages are actually wider than the 16:9 screen? www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTY2...

Historically accurate?! Isn't The Odyssey mostly FICTIONAL?! Last I checked there isn't a Circe, Cyclops or Scylla in the real world. (yes, I AM aware that bits of it are based off actual locations and events, but I am not interested in splitting hairs - don't @ me)

There was such a huge push back in the 90s to be all in on 3D polygons as that was seen as more "serious" and "mature". I guess journalists felt that in order to legitimize gaming to this new modern audience, they needed to shun 2D games in an edgy. dismissive way as worthless relics. 1/2

So, I am averaging maybe half a page to a page a week. I would like to have more output, but there is only so much I can do while also working a 40-hour a week job (with a 45-minute commute time in each direction). #writing
