Was incredibly excited to have this album drop into my inbox yesterday for review, ahead of its release next month

Excited to have been invited to start booking surprise gigs in unexpected and interesting spaces with Sofar Sounds in Margate. I love live music and am looking forward to begin putting on shows that I'd personally love to go to.

Was set the absolutely impossible task the other day of singling out just one Courtney Barnett verse that could be considered her best. Personally, I consider all of her verses to be her best one

I am obsessed with the Boston accent. Some pronunciation highlights have included simple things like "Good Mawning, howwaya?", "That's not Yawwwws", "I godda paahk the cah", but absolutely my two favourite pronunciations were much more unexpected: "Narwaaaal" and "Haaaarley Quinn"

I saw David Gray, and The Divine Comedy last night & I enjoyed them both. Neil Hannon has such dry humour & was quite chatty. And I love love loved David Gray's enthusiastic and infectious dancing 🖤 I think a few tix may be left for Festival Hall, London, tomorrow night for The Divine Comedy, too.

Finished "Dylan Revisited: Busy Being Born (1960-66)" by @dylanrevisited.bsky.social, an engaging chronology of the early career of Bob Dylan. Both approachable and deeply informative, the book is a handy companion for any Dylan fan that will reveal plenty about this dense era. 5/5

I ❤️ Alanis Had the absolute best time with the best human last night watching Alanis Morissette at Crystal Palace Park. Despite a lot of her songs being ingrained in my soul, I'd never seen her perform live before and I have to admit, I did get a tiny bit overwhelmed. A magical experience ✨
