We are Tabletop Workers United! We love working at Hex & Co., the Brooklyn Strategist, and the Uncommons. Follow us as we fight for a fair contract! https://linktr.ee/tabletopsolidarity
Congrats to @tabletopwu.bsky.social !!!!!! I know so many people worked really hard for this & I’m hoping it’s a really meaningful quality of life improvement for even more
Come on out to this fundraiser hosted by Lotus Bloom for TWU's Hardship Fund!!! <3 <3
Lotus Bloom@lotusbloomnyc.bsky.social · last yr.Unbelievably excited to announce that on JUNE 14TH, Lotus Bloom will be hosting CUBE IN SOLIDARITY - a fundraising event for tabletop store workers!! Players will get to play two rounds of cube from local designers, with all proceeds going to the TTWU Strike Hardship Fund.
June 21st and 22nd, from 10am to 6pm, join Tabletop Workers United and friends in Chelsea to celebrate our contract settlement with the TTWU Zine and Culture Fair! Share and buy anything from poetry to zines to games to art! Everyone is welcome! #zine #artwork #shoplocal #union #indieartists
Tabletop community- we're surveying customers at Hex & Co, The Uncommons, and The Brooklyn Strategist! Even though we've seen an outpour of support, management thinks that organizing activities will have a negative impact on customer relations with the business.
In solidarity w/ @tabletopwu.bsky.social, customers marched on ownership at the Brooklyn Strategist to condemn their attempts to limit workers' free speech! "We implore you...at a time when many of our rights are under attack by people in power, to reject the cynicism of austerity and censorship."
Over 13K total raised by our tabletop community to support our contract demands!! This money will be used to make sure workers and their families can stand firm for as long as the fight lasts.
Within 30 minutes of ownership finding out about our walkout, we negotiated a return to work! Our walkout forced a promise to us that we’d get the economic data we demanded within a week, a response to our tipping policy settlement, and attendance from ownership at bargaining ✊
Tabletop Workers United@tabletopwu.bsky.social · 2y ago⚠EMERGENCY CALL TO ACTION!⚠ The Uncommons is WALKING OUT today after Greg May’s neglect in recent bargaining, from multiple absences at sessions to refusal to commit to a date by which he’ll provide sufficient economic data for The Uncommons (that the union already has from BSTRAT and Hex).
