I think one of the things I've accepted about the ending of Good Omens is that this is just a heartbreak I will have to carry forever, because that's just how pain works sometimes. Whenever I think of the show version of them, it will always be mired in sadness and a sense of loss.

Good Omens fan, lover of the book, heartbroken by the TV show
bracing myself for the inevitable drama that will come out of the ineffable con
Me too. I miss when this fandom was big and unified and hopeful.
Man, I really do miss how everything was before 🥹 its so lonely now Been trying to find things to keep my brain active and nothing sticks. No motivation for art and Naruto didnt last long enough to dull the ache 🥲
These are making the rounds on Twitter recently amongst the GO hating fandom:
it also betrays the fact that i think some finale defenders don’t actually enjoy the finale for what it was. otherwise they wouldn’t be twisting the narrative into knots trying to say something happened that just straight up didn’t happen
good omens fandom rn the final boss of the irritatingly prevalent belief that all interpretations of media are “equally valid”. headcanon all you want but it’s ridiculous to insist the AziraCrow = AsAnthony side has as much canonical evidence as the side saying AziraCrow are dead n’ gone
Yeah exactly. The idea of them reincarnating over and over again in a world with nothing ineffable makes no sense. If A&C got a truly godless universe, they should have never been reincarnated in the first place.
And to be honest… reincarnation is a religious concept. Asa and Anthony live in a new world without god and in my opinion there’s no reincarnation. Sorry, they’re just dead and god just did what they wanted.
Why are people arguing that Aziraphale and Crowley didn't kill themselves at the end? Did we watch the same show? Yeah, I know, they were reincarnated. Reincarnation entails dying first.
Enough time has gone by that I'm forgetting a lot of details about the finale, and it's so beautiful and wonderful.
Good Omens, but in the super early historical flashbacks Aziraphale and Crowley are actually enemies since they're not acclimated to Earth and humanity yet
If you liked GO3 and are frustrated over other fans’ negative responses to it, well… you can always return to the finale and rewatch the canon scenes you love, right? Those of us who disliked it can’t do that. Canon is no longer a comfort for us. We have nothing.
The ending of Good Omens is not an unambiguously happy one no matter how much you insist it is 😇 erasing every single queer character we knew and loved and replacing them with imposters is not a happy queer ending—it’s literally erasure and a symptom of a larger problem. #notmyfinale #go3critical
It's been so peaceful since the Good Omens prime account stopped posting 😌 Back to playing with Aziraphale and Crowley in the bookshop
When I remember that GO3 is just expensive fanfiction
Honestly, I'm so glad that Michael and David have been quiet regarding the Good Omens finale. Good for them, and good riddance to that cursed production. I hope they stay far away and have great mental health.
Yesterday, I missed Aziraphale and Crowley. Today, I miss Aziraphale and Crowley. Tomorrow, I will miss Aziraphale and Crowley. The day after that, I will...
Say what you will about the Good Omens finale, but there's no denying that the ending really killed off a big chunk of the fandom. I feel like it's going through an extinction burst right now. This seems like the last explosion of fan-content before the fandom peters off into niche obscurity.
Thank you Good Omens fix-it authors, you are all so talented and fantastic
Y'all, we are not so starved for queer rep that we have to accept the Good Omens ending as good. Just because it ended with a gay couple doesn't mean it was good writing. It was shit all around.
I just miss Aziraphale & Crowley. Like, every single day. It hurts real bad.
I love Good Omens. I love Good Omens. I love Good Omens. I love Good Omens. I love Good Omens. I love Good Omens. I love Good Omens. #GoodOmens
Look, I know GO3 defenders are confused why us GO3 haters are still interacting with Good Omens at all if we hated the finale so much, but you have to understand it's because we're still fans. We're heartbroken fans with nowhere to put our rage, but fans nonetheless.
The biggest GO3 haters are the biggest S1 and S2 lovers. #antigo3
What I hate about the good omens finale today is: why on earth are we making Crowley into such a “good guy” when he was always meant to be morally gray? So much for following through on your established themes
