I once attended a session about strategies and how to stay working in environmental education. Some of the passionate educators were on the verge of leaving seasonal environmental education to get a “real” job. What might encourage them to stay involved in environmental work, regardless of sector?

Set aside the image you usually see when you hear "environmental educator." Now think about the issues in society - health, journalism, travel, immigration, construction, etc. Now place an environmental educator in each situation. What are they doing? What is their title?
