Post trip report: - Milwaukee rocks and the Brewers won - the Hank Aaron trail is functional and postindustrial urban corridor feel - Bublr was great! tho, the station is farther from stadium than it should be and our group snagged the last bikes, so they could use more!

Visiting Milwaukee later this summer and staying downtown w/o car. Is Bublr #BikeShare a viable way to get to a daytime #Brewers game? via Hank Aaron Trail presumably? Any tips?

a docking station for bublr bike share system, with several bikes visible and a person checking out a bike on a sunny day.

A driver wanted to be sketchy last night but I diffused the danger with good riding technique & made a video about to help teach others. Drivers 🚗: don't make stupid passes! Bikers 🚲 🏍️: be visible, position yourself correctly in the lane, signal, and check your shoulder. #BikeSky

Whoa, over a quarter million people (so far!) have left a comment on the egrgious openly fascist takeover attempt of the OMB. You can too! @standupforscience.net has instructions and everything you need. It's not hard, and it's critically important to science. fight2win.standupforscience.net

Shade is nice, but too often in our area, trees in close proximity to bike paths quickly result in massive damage to pavement rendering them uncomfortable and potentially dangerous/unridable above ~5 mph. Perhaps better engineering and silvicultural knowledge could avoid?

It sounds silly and obvious, but I'm always struck by how much shade makes a difference when biking on a hot day. It's so much cooler and I'll actively seek out more shaded routes. It's a good reminder that infrastructure planning should take shade into account as it's a huge motivator for riders.
