“Wouldn’t that expand to even your fan art?” …Yes. Yes it would. As I said; I refuse to support a company that spits in the face of creatives like me, even if they made a franchise I loved and once supported human-made creativity. I’d do the same if Nintendo considered GenAI as well.

If SEGA uses GenAI for the Sonic The Hedgehog series, I will refuse to support any of the series’ works going forward. This series helped me become the artist/writer I am through official and fan content, and I don’t appreciate creative talents like mine being spat on.
