I just started Tom's Crossing having no idea what to expect and now 50 pages in the writing at the line level is some of the best I've ever read and my expectation is that this book is gonna fuckin hurt. #booksky

More things from the last week or so. Found a new park and there's been a lot of really cool critters and plants there. Way more than I expected for it being kind of in the middle of our city.

6 hot air balloons over a lightly wooded plainA wildflower - possibly a globe mallow?A squirrel on a very narrow branch reaching for a nearby branch to eatA pink evening primrose blooming in front of a small painted stick raft with a flag that says "You matter"

I've had a real good week and I'm once again pissed to say that touching grass and drinking water were key contributors but I am gonna try to post pictures every day again until I run out off cool stuff to show the internet.

A great blue heron in front of a lakeA squirrel holding some foodSome mushrooms growing in a decaying logA vulture soaring just over the top of the thin canopy

Finished This Inevitable Ruin a few days ago and man, it really is the best book in the series. I cannot wait for Parade of Horribles to come out. Now taking a break before starting Antisocial. Currently at 17 books read for the year. #Booksky

Just finished There Is No Antimemetics Division by QNTM putting me at 16 books this year. It was very good and certainly had some incredibly interesting concepts throughout. Really good book. #booksky

I finished Bedlam Bride and am now reading There Is No Antimemetics Division by QNTM. Bedlam Bride was amazing, of course, and half way through this latest is absolutely incredible. A wild ride. Brilliant and imaginative. Well exceeds expectations. #booksky

A friend needed a picture of Dante from Devil May Cry but French for a presentation on the links between it and Expedition 33 and I feel like I nailed the assignment

A sketch of Dante from Devil May Cry in front of the Eiffel Tower, wearing a striped shirt, holding a baguette, and wearing a beret. There is a "Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series" sticker but in French at the bottom

Just finished Dungeon Crawler Carl 5 - The Butcher's Masquerade. Genuinely excellent. I hear the series only gets better which is wild. That's 14 books down this year of my goal of 12. I'll likely start the next DCC book tomorrow! #booksky
