I do intend to do a bunch of the DTIYS posts that have been done. So I'll throw one in here. She is my Magical Girl Villain who loves to tease and bully. Please draw her being a big meanie as you like, but do NOT put her in diapers. That's my only stipulation.
After 6 long years in this apartment it's time to start packing up and moving...and time for me to realize how I have utterly failed, 1000%, to downsize and get rid of things in preparation for this. Oh boy is this going to be tedious. it's going to be worth it!...but it's going to be a lot of work.
The air is breathable again, the weather is nice, and the big thing I've been keeping quiet about appears to be happening so I don't have to worry about jinxing it: I'm moving out of this apartment I've been in for 6 years...into a house. Still have some time before it's settled. Soon though...
I don't know if it counts as a "little" activity, but there's something very nostalgic about having a guest over, and randomly pulling out a "secret" binder of pokemon cards to show them. Like "look, this is my "cool cards" collection, isn't it neat?
I don't know when exactly in 2006 I posted my first pic, but I know it was sometime in the summer. Thank you everyone for 20 years. There's nothing I've ever done consistently for this long (breaks aside). I hope to keep trying to bring you all some cute things in the future.
Some stuff is happening in my life and it's very sudden but it's good so like, I'm excited but it's also big so I'm nervous. I'm....gonna do my best to not disappear for a bit. Need to keep my head on my shoulders. Surely I can focus on drawing. No problem doing that at all...

Would you all be interested in getting yourselves scenes like these? I'm thinking of opening Koikatsu commissions to help myself recover from a little financial disaster. Prices would be discussed based on character and scene complexity.
Seeing all these posts on instagram about Anime Expo makes me glad I have zero excuse to ever go to that one. I like the con experience, but that is insane! No thank you! I'll stick with my mid sized 10-30k kind of conventions.

I actually caved to my degenerate gambler itch and tried one of these. It was exactly as underwhelming as I expected. BUT I also didn't have this acrylic so that's actually kind of impressive. The lanyard is unofficial but that just means I won't mind putting pins in it.
I want to get one of these, but for Carly McKillip (Sakura Avalon). CC Cinema Arts claims they're "very good" at getting signatures.

I survived my 1 day trip to Big Charlotte Anime, a convention that was supposed to be in January but got pushed back due to that freak blizzard. What a nice trip, it was mostly for my sister and her friend, but I had a good time. Got to talk Cardcaptors with people. Pics of haul later.

You don't realize just how many little things you have until you start trying to get rid of them. In anticipation of possibly getting/choosing/needing to move by the end of the year I'm trying to downsize. Filled 2 garbage bags of stuff and a donation box. I haven't even scratched the surface...
