i was doing some experimentation over the weekend with processing public domain photos (via wikipedia) to look like EGA art (320x200 stretched to 4:3 aspect ratio, 16 colors out of a fixed palette of very strange 64 colors, lots of dithering). i thought it made for quite an interesting look!
