I picture a cliff. The waters below are treacherous. A crowd is tightly packed. Trump, Elon, & oligarchs are far from the edge. They push. Some Immigrants, nonbinary and trans people tumble on day 1. The oligarchs push again. We need to push back but our little bit of grass seems safe. Will we?

Allowing hate speech on social media platforms makes it incredibly difficult to amplify the words of marginalized writers. We are on Bluesky but many members of our community are on Facebook and Instagram.

Now that we have our first printed publication under our belts, I want to remind you that we are still seeking essays, creative non fiction, and artwork for “We Could Almost Touch It” anthology. This special work documents women’s experiences, feelings, and insights since the 2016 election. Be a part of this historic work.
