Thanks to X, the everything app, there’s been a resurgence of right-wing artists, and they always have dead Patreons and their Discords are always barren lands because you can clearly tell these people are unable to make connections outside their bubble lol.

Finally caught up with patches for FFXIV. Wuk Lamat is fine. DT is fine. Smile is great even if out of place, funnily enough I didn't associate the song with Disney, but with modern religious music. The voice acting deserves some criticism, just not the type it was getting when the exp came out...

Pretending to be a centrist is almost structurally necessary for the average right-winger. Their politics is framed not as an ideology, but as the self-evident worldview of the “common man”, an imagined neutral baseline from which everything to the left can be dismissed as radicalism

The PC Gaming cambrian explosion began 13 years ago. Up until July 2013, there were 10-30 releases on Steam every month. Now there are *thousands*, a number that is still growing constantly. And I have dedicated myself to trying to keep track of what's happening, because I am apparently an idiot.
Meanwhile, because I like keeping an eye on the dissident right, the feed on one of my accounts is chock-full of racist crap. None of it ever gets taken down, even when I report it.
