We have two ways to access student records and progress.’One is a run-house suite that works great and looks like something from 1997. The other is a slick advising platform that is one of those things that administrators get tricked into buying by software sales engineers. It works sometimes.

My favorite is that our advising interface doesn't directly show student progress on their degree. I have to go from one to the other. About 25% of the time it logs me out when I click the link from one interface to the other and I have to log back in.
