NASUWT condemns the racist violence & disorder and stands with every family & community under attack. That is why we are gathering this Saturday at the 'Reclaim our Streets; No to the Far Right' rally in Glasgow. Please make every effort to be there. 📅 Sat 13th June 📍 Glasgow Buchanan Steps 1pm

NASUWT condemns the racist violence and disorder seen this week in Northern Ireland as well as parts of Scotland

Our solidarity is with those communities targeted and with teachers across Scotland who are supporting children and young people impacted by this violence and intimidation.

There is no place for racism, hate or violence in our communities and our political leaders must be unequivocal in condemning both those who physically attack racially minoritised communities and those who fuel the violence with poisonous rhetoric.

NASUWT stands with every family and community under attack - they are not alone, not forgotten, not abandoned.

That is why we are gathering this Saturday at the 'Reclaim our Streets; No to the Far Right' rally in Glasgow.

Please make every effort to be there.

Saturday 13th June

Glasgow: Buchanan Steps at 1pm

The thugs who gathered in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Ayr last night are con artists; pretending to care about people subjected to violence by being violent themselves. And where are they when white men attack, assault or kill women or immigrants? Absent. Scotland needs immigrants; not these clowns.

We need to shift the narrative & value readiness, not just results. This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek it is right to highlight that learning cannot happen without addressing unmet basic needs. That is why @scottishtuc.bsky.social women’s committee will continue to campaign for UFSM. #FoodforThought

5 hours left to vote in the Scottish Parliament election! Are you on your way back from work? Nip to the polling station before you get too comfy at home! Also, if you have a postal vote and you haven't returned it, never fear: you can hand it in at your local polling place!
