The fundamental mistake most "entrepreneurs" (and more than a few programmers) make is thinking that the programming (although tricky) is the hard part. It's not. There's a reason there are massive multinational companies that do nothing but provide support services for 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦'𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦.

Vibe coded software is free as in puppy not free as in beer. Even if writing code is now cheap, you still have to maintain it.

Guy two doors down has frequently thrown homophobic abuse my way in the 6 years I've lived here. 7 weeks ago I got called to him in my professional capacity as a paramedic, he was having a heart attack. He got the same professional treatment from me as anyone would. He survived.

A few years ago I was surveying the VPN landscape and came across ShadowSocks, which I ignored because "I'll never live somewhere where I'll need that." Now I'm spending Sunday researching ShadowSocks/V2Ray/Xray, etc.

I'd totally watch this movie; call it The Murder of Clarke Kent. No plot, just endless escalating slapstick assassination attempts, Hundreds of Beavers meets Inspector Clouseau style. Eventually Clarke gets sick of the hassle and changes his identity by simply wearing a different pair of glasses.
