Terrible news … the Bradley Creek wildfire near Vernon has destroyed hundreds of homes. 30 homes belonging to members of the Okanagan Indian Band are gone, more than 200 non-band member homes were destroyed.
Careful outside today. Smoke from all the fires is moving in and will stick around for several days.

Coola, the other resident bear and Grizzly's companion since 2001, was given supervised access to Grinder after his passing. It's a way for him to help recognize the loss. :(

My grade 5 class was split in one large classroom called 'The Open Area'. One teacher had his class on one side, our class on the other. Each Friday my teacher played piano, the other teacher played guitar & students sang. Moonshadow was one of my favourites. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mXI...
