In my opinion, a failure to understand the white-hot rage so many people feel about ICE's campaign of terror and oppression is what has taken some establishment Dems by surprise in their primaries. Abolish ICE and Nuremberg 2.0 is basically the floor for what the Dem electorate is demanding.
They are careful to highlight that a key issue is not his intellectual freedom to engage academically in controversial subjects but his ad hominems&avowed intention to specifically cause harm to others. Anyone willing to die on the hill of academic/intellectual freedom over this is on the wrong hill

Including breach of contract, using the University of Ghent’s name and legitimacy to promote his racial supremacist views and causing reputational damage.
Maybe you think you are invulnerable to this (you are not), but the people who stay in Twitter because you are still sharing there are definitely being dragged to the right. I have so many mutuals who are still posting regularly there, and it's so disheartening to see. Please stop.

one thing you can't stop seeing once you notice it is how the pundits the mainstream media platform actively punish any dem who lands on effective messaging
