nintendo has discovered the awe inspiring power of the playstation 4 and are making it everyones problem. Completely normal, a lot of developers ran into this issue a decade ago when they made batman look like a michael bay transformer.

I don’t know I just think it’s disingenuous to compare people’s criticisms of the OoT remake style to the Windwaker backlash when the latter was mostly teens and early 20-somethings saying “wtf looks like a gay cartoon.”

to me the question isn't whether or not oot remake uses ai, and i'm not interested in making blanket accusations just because it looks like shit, but in how much is it influenced by being part of a contemporary aesthetic movement that is deeply commercial, and yes, is influenced by gen ai
