I know there are silly examples about A.I. summaries giving people obviously wrong food advice, but they can also give plausible but wrong food advice that can make you sick, like this case I ran into the other day. Stay safe and never trust A.I. summaries!

Cursed knowledge: a table spoon is around 1 teaspoon, whereas a tea spoon is around 1/3 of a teaspoon, though your results may vary 😸

PSA: A feature is "opt-out" if you're *in* by default and you have to "opt out" of it to disable it. A feature is "opt-in" if you're *out* by default, and you have to "opt in" to enable it. I've seen many people mix up opt-out and opt-in, probably due to out/in referring to the non-default state.

I made a bit of progress making polygon visualization code on stream, to be able to see what the triangulations I've been working on look like, but my internet died 😸 We raided @exodrifter.bsky.social , who was working on some code for dealing with schedules ⏰

All roughed out and getting to clean linework

In case anyone else is wondering why the OBS captions plugin doesn't work on Linux, it's a known issue, but the first reply to this has a workaround: github.com/ratwithacomp... Both flatpak and non-flatpak installs of OBS are affected, and flatpak needs a different path than the plugin says.

I really hope that Linux, and companies that develop software that could run on Linux, finally get their act together. I've tried to or had to use Linux off and on for 25 years, and there are still many basic things that unnecessarily require "fixing" via manually running unintuitive command lines.

I've been setting up Linux on my streaming computer (dual boot, since some things only work on Windows), and I haven't set things up for programming yet, but I do have my drawing tablet working, so maybe this is my push to finally getting into ArtFight... if I can get my OBS setup rebuilt again 😸

I fixed 2 bugs in the triangulation code and it worked, so I started on the more complicated algorithm! 😺 We raided Alek (@shadowfaerieammy.bsky.social), who's raising money for Trans Empowerment Project until tomorrow, July 21st!
