this explanation of the differences with MLB rules is so stupid how am i supposed to know what a mound visit is?? like the broadcast could at least explain the acronyms and sport-specific phrases instead of assuming everyone knows the sport..
maybelle blair throwing the first pitch is making me cry 🥹 like yes the world sucks so much but this is also such a reminder of how far we’ve come, that she was able to come out at 90+ and then at 99 get to throw the first pitch in the first professional women’s baseball league in over 70 years!!!
anyone who follows men’s baseball: do players normally move the rain cover thingy on and off? can’t tell if this is one of those little baseball quirks or if it’s that the WBPL is not providing adequate staff and risking injury for their players (i would 1000% be slipping alll over that wet tarp)
