RefUK, RW media, & Eurofash are plainly trying to whip up a panic about this. Any serious report must begin by explaining that Ceuta is in Africa - not mainland Spain - and 48k+ of the 50k crossers were already returned. It is frightening how many still don't know this. Please share on all socials.

Spain's prime minister has blamed trafficking gangs after about 60,000 migrants crossed into the Spanish North African enclave of Ceuta from Morocco. At least 57 people died during the surge, according to local media."Daily Mail and Daily Express from this weekend, with front page headlines "Ministers MUST stop the Spanish border invaders reaching UK" and "SPANISH BORDER CRISIS IS 'WAKE-UP CALL' FOR UK", respectively.

This is awful and just such an unforced error and so petty. The department made the mistake, they just need to suck it up and regularise the person's situation. You can't mess with people's lives like this. EU citizens in UK get letters telling them post-Brexit residency rights were given ‘in error’

After years of building lives in UK, potentially thousands of EU citizens could be told they have no right to remain

On the face of it, classic populist - back me or sack me. But if he won back his seat in Clacton, he returns to Parliament, the investigation continues, he could still face a 10 day ban = petition for by-election. He's pre-empting a 10 day ban, banking on Clacton support as a warning to Parliament

🔴 NEW: Nigel Farage’s ‘Pro-Sleaze’ By-Election Is A Sign Of Terminal Weakness The Reform leader's desperate decision to call a back-me-or-sack-me by-election is a sign of a politician who knows he is finally being exposed for the man he really is, argues Adam… Read the full story below.

Following in the footsteps of France and Switzerland's Government who banned Palantir from Government contracts, Spain has now banned Palantir from signing ANY contracts in Spain. Lets get Palantir OUT.

Govt cuts to local authorities have caused so much damage. If Burnham believes so strongly in the power of local devolution he must restore workable budgets to LAs. There's only so much the Mayor of any city can do if Borough councils are so short of cash they reverse everything s(he) does

Ealing Council cut down the tree next to our house because they did not want to cut it back yearly. so net result is we have no shade on that side of the house and we have less wildlife and nesting birds.

This has got to stop. The amounts are obscene. It's clearly buying influence, not solving the country's problems. No party should be able (or need) £millions to campaign. We should never spend more on campaigns than on charities or essential services. Especially not ££s from those who avoid tax.

Reform UK raising millions more than other parties, donation figures show. Farage’s party brings in £9m largely from crypto billionaires in three months, more than twice that of Labour and Tories. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Just finished Any Questions, up against Richard Tice. I knew there would be plenty of BS on climate, but he spouted rubbish on *every* subject. Even claimed that the EU is not our biggest trading partner, but the US. In fact, we have 3x more trade with the EU. He believes whatever he wants to.
