ICE fatally shot a man in Houston yesterday. Agents arrested a nun on her way to mass. An Afghan who helped the U.S. military died in ICE detention, one of at least 21 people to die in detention this year. The headlines have moved on, but Trump is still waging his reign of terror.
I was going to be so annoyed with #Eurovision if Israel won... I mean, I get that we shouldn't blame all of Israel for their government's actions - and not like USA has any room to talk in that regard - but still, almost felt like awarding bad behavior.
Got my new #Samsung S26 Ultra yesterday and am starting my migration from my S23 Ultra... Awaiting my new phone case which arrives today. Definitely a few negatives with the new phone, but the first is just how unpleasant it is to hold without a case on it. Gone are the curved screens of yore! 😂
It would have been easy for the regime to pretend this was a terrible accident & that one ICE officer was excessive & will be disciplined — then continue their reign of misogynist, bigoted terror anyway. But they’re too revved up & thin-skinned to admit even ONE wrong. Literal toddlers. With guns.
Hegseth & his henchmen seem to regard this as a videogame where they get points for each target they hit. These aren't human beings to them. (Not to mention we aren't even in an armed conflict. We're just killing people in international waters. Just so many layers of horrifying wrongness.)
Just watched the new #StarTrek #strangenewworlds episodes on #ParamountPlus & the latest #Revival episode on #Peacock, & both shows feature @melaniescrofano.bsky.social laid out on a medical bed fighting for her life. She plays "on death's door" very well! 😂 She also dresses up nice for a wedding. 😏

Kind of a surreal feeling to be watching "The Man From Toronto" with my mom this evening, but to be able to say "I've sang karaoke with her..." when watching @katedrummond.bsky.social be all serious and cop-like -which seems to be a speciality of hers- at least in this one her head didn't explode. 😂

With the X exodus going on and with this platform is having more folks join, I figure I should start spending more time here as well. My primary platforms have been IG and Threads lately, but only because more people I know were there.
Just had this, which I captured 9 years ago for the #BringBackDefiance Twibbon campaign, pop up on my "On this day" feed. Now I may just need to pop in a #Defiance Blu-ray and do an uncharacteristic rewatch.
Thought this upon seeing the trailer for #WynonnaEarp #Vengeance, and still do after seeing it: This was my least favorite in terms of haberdashery. 😂🤠 Something about the square-fronted Stetsons just felt off, like they didn't suit the heads they adorned. All except Nedley...
It's interesting how in #WynonnaEarp #Vengeance they said "oh, you know these two seemingly unkillable highly beloved characters? Turns out that they are not going to be cheating death on this hand, skilled as they may be at the game."
I didn't even try to livetweet with the #WynonnaEarp #Vengeance watch party... Everything was moving so quick, tweet distractions would have made it impossible to follow. I almost never do, but for this I felt like I should have turned on subtitles to catch the rapid-fire banter.

Got my eyes dilated today for my annual eye exam... Always great to leave an eye exam feeling like your vision is monumentally worse than when you arrived. 🙄🥺 Actually I am apparently doing just fine for someone nearly 40.
