#SpacetoberChallenge Day 9: Landing The Eagle has landed. Historic words accompanied by an iconic spacecraft, the Lunar Module. I originally designed this for the 2023 Spacetober Challenge, but thought it deserved to see the light of day and be appreciated again. #sciart #spaceart #Apollo11
The Sens are now 2-0 with Brady Tkachuk no longer on the team
If Brady knew how to read, he would be so mad.
A fun listen as NHL Opening Night rolls on. Check it out. And stay tuned to TCA as our pal AJ Jakubec joins me in studio for our Wednesday show talking about the Ottawa REDBLACKS disaster rolling on, the Sens training camp, MLB playoffs and much more. See you then.
Nothing to be bitter about today as we get the sweet treat of the return of the NHL. Today’s show is a stout one as we answer one question about every team in the league ahead of puck drop. Join us. TallCanAudio.com/listen
The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.
Will I vote for Leiper? Yes. Am I enthusiastic about him? Not really, no. Will things get worse if he's mayor? Not intentionally. Will he stand up to OPS? Not likely. Will he be better than Sutcliffe? Of course. Will he offer any bold ideas? Nope. Do I think you should vote for him? Yes I do.
6th grade me was SO stoked to have tickets for this game!
The Oilers aren't screwing around with tomorrow's 1st pre-season game, vs Habs, in Ottawa. Hunter-Gretzky-Anderson Tikkanen-Messier-Kurri Summanen-MacTavish-Napier Krushelnyski-McClelland-McSorley Tellingly, Lumley, Semenko & Jackson won't go. And no Danny Gare!
All ten provinces plus Nunavut. Two to go! 🇨🇦
I wonder how many Canadians have been to more than five provinces. I’d bet it’s less than half. Fewer still if you included even one territory. It’s a fascinating thing to think about when you compare to other countries: we are hundreds — thousands! — of kilometers away from our fellow citizens
Jean Chretien's address at Gander: “Yes, Canada is generous, open country, and Canadians are tolerant and kind,” he said. “But never mistake our generosity for weakness. Never, never mistake our tolerance for lack of determination. And never, never, mistake our kindness for softness.”
