When proposing plans for addressing an issue, I find it useful to consider the effectiveness and efficiency of the approach. It can be informative and productive to discuss ideas with other people. I've found some ways to make these discussions more productive. #1 is to not have them on BlueSky.

My mom loves Stephen King's *The Shining* and hates Kubrick's film. She thought Shelley Duvall wasn't attractive enough, and didn't like Jack's character development. She thought the 90's miniseries was much better because it was truer to the book. I like both the novel and Kubrick's movie.

Me: Call me the cunnilangolier the way I'm eating pussy from one day to the next. My wife: Please never say that again. The giant toothsome orb speaking with the sound of a million trees falling into endless lanes of spinning steel: We liked it, baby.

"Scarborough Fair" is such a weird song. "Hey, are you going to Scarborough? If so, visit this chick I used to love and tell her to do a bunch a shit that doesn't make any goddamned sense if she wants to get back together. Also, remember this blend of four (4) herbs and spices."

I really hate working in federal contracting sometimes. "Hey, can you add code scanning alerts to our repositories so we can stay apprised of these issues in our normal communications channels?" "Sure, how long could it take?" *a wild 🎁 appears* *open it up* *it's fucking ATO implications*

My "I was drugged and left for dead in Mexico and all I got was this stupid t-shirt" t-shirt has a lot of people asking questions that I too would like to have answered, frankly.
