Idk it IS interesting seeing people grappling with the concept of 'not everyone is going to accept an apology after being hurt' today Some will be more forgiving, others will have turned away forever. I'm a forgiving person but this one I can't. People handle the harm on their own agency

Why do we need to accept it? Why is this the hangup? I'm glad he stopped the bad thing! (Still didn't apologize for the misogyny). I'm glad he stepped back! That's not enough to earn forgiveness. That's bare minimum, but still broke a lot of trust in people. That's not ours to fix.

We're too deep into Ai harm for people be thinking this is an oopsie after they sell out. Its not a secret to any creative how we feel. I already cannot forgive him for the vile misogyny of the comment he made in the first place. A lot of masks dropped and it fucking hurt to witness.

But even then, don’t expect to be immediately welcomed with open arms after turning a 180 and making cookie-cutter excuses after being so strongly against it before.
You don't have to 'grow up' out of your interests or joys. Live and love your honest self - and be gentle yourself, those little joys can be load bearing. Playtime can be healing time.
